Join us for a fun and informative hike where our expert Tom Walker will enlighten us about lichens. They cover rocks, trees, and even bones. Use this opportunity to get to know them even better.

Tom Walker is a graduate of the University of Amherst, Massachusetts with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology.  He had worked for the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management conducting wildlife surveys in Oregon, Washington and California prior to returning to New England.  He has many natural history interests and has given presentations and led walks on lichens, fungi, dragonflies, and tree identification for several different organizations.

There are no facilities at this site. Wear weather appropriate layers and hiking boots. If you have a loupe or magnifying glass bring it along, if not we have you covered.
