Walk Myles Standish State Forest with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to learn about a forest born of ice and fire, shaped by human hands and by changing climates. On this 1.6-mile hike, participants will learn the geological and natural history of the forest, from Native American hunters to visitors of the forest today.

Suitable for children ages 8 and up.

Meet at Parking Lot 2. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Bring water. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. Rain may cancel; call ahead to confirm.
