Mass Audubon South Coast Sanctuaries is offering an exciting summer day program for children ages 6-10 that encourages and activates a child’s sense of curiosity and love of nature! This program runs for four days, July 25th-28th, from 9 am to 3 pm. Each day starts with a different theme discussion, followed by hikes and activities related to the day’s topics.

We meet each morning at either the field station or Stone Barn Farm.  Please be sure to check the locations for drop off and pick up locations.  Our topics focus on exploring the different ecosystems within the sanctuary and working within them – doing some gardening, mapping highlights and organisms on the trails and using our daily field cards to note bird species.  Prepare to get down and dirty while learning and having a ton of fun!

Participants must wear and bring suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor activity as well as a bathing suit, towel and water shoes for wading.  Please also pack a sack lunch and refillable water bottle.  Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.

Cost: Free for qualified families, $40 Members, $50 Nonmembers
