Marching Forward / Mass. is proud to host Mountainfilm on Tour at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. This selection of documentary shorts includes thought-provoking explorations of climate change and the environment, immigrant struggles, interactions with nature, and daring and inspiring outdoor adventures.

Colorado’s Mountainfilm festival, now in its 40th year, is a documentary film festival with the mission to use the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. A selection of the best-loved shorts goes on tour each year to over 100 locations on five continents. The mix of documentary shorts includes thought-provoking explorations of climate change and the environment, interactions with nature, and daring and inspiring outdoor adventures.

A special mid-morning family program at 10:30am will offer 50 minutes of appealing shorts, just for kids. Eighteen films will be shown in between the afternoon program at 3:00pm and the evening program at 7:00pm. We encourage you to attend them both.

Proceeds will benefit the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

Cost: $10-$20 (kids under 12 free)
