Take experiential education to the next level on and around Onset Bay with year-round, hands-on activities aligned with MA curriculum standards!
While we would love to host all groups, we currently don’t have the capacity to accommodate field trips at the Onset Bay Center outside of our existing partnership with Wareham Public Schools and homeschool groups. While we are not able to fulfill field trip requests from other school districts, we invite members of all communities to join us for some of our other programs outside of the day programs! Check out and share our activity page here!

What We Offer: Onset Bay Center is now offering field trips to Wareham Schools and Homeschool groups to augment existing science, STEM, and social-emotional curriculum at little to no cost! Through activities like crabbing, shellfishing, sailing and paddling adventures, ecological observations and experiments, learn and discover for yourself all that Onset Bay has to offer.
Planning Your Adventure: Please see below to view our extensive field trip options with curriculum connections. Each activity runs 90 minutes. Choose one for a shorter field trip, or two to spend more time on the bay. Trip schedules can be flexible to include lunch or snack breaks or general beach play. and exploration at the discretion of trip organizers. Activity offerings are varied and can be altered to better suit the needs of your group! Activities are intentionally designed for students in grades K-12,
and can be adapted to accommodate most learning and mobility differences. All are welcome!
