The Lloyd Center for the Environment is known as a phenomenal resource for environmental education. But it’s also a destination for outdoor exploration on the stunning Slocums River in Dartmouth. With miles of well-maintained trails and engaging community programs, the Lloyd Center offers visitors a unique spot to learn about Buzzards Bay’s habitats and wildlife.
Buzzards Bay Coalition believes everyone who lives in the Buzzards Bay watershed should have access to experience its natural wonders. The Coalition’s new Onset Bay Center offers high-quality, on-the-water programs. Through a variety of outdoor activities such as sailing, paddling, rowing, shellfishing, and much more, the center helps community members of all ages build a personal connection with our local environment.
Since the start of our programs in July 2020, the OBC staff have treasured our time exploring Onset Bay with you and your families. We look forward to growing our programs and increasing access to all that Onset Bay has to offer.
