Boating safety is of the utmost importance when you are on or around the bay. In partnership with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Cape Cod Canal Station, BBC is thrilled to offer several FREE seminars to help everyone feel more safe and comfortable around Buzzards Bay. The Coast Guard Auxiliary has taught a number of safe boating courses and seminars for youth and the community at large at the Onset Bay Center and returns this Fall to provide the same service. 

The focus of this seminar is boating safety tips such as how to enter and exit a boat safely, how to fit a life jacket, what to do if the boat swamps or capsizes, basic rules of the road, and other safe boating and emergency tips. This is designed for youth age 6-11.
