Learn about those wet areas in your neighborhood and find out what is making all that noise every spring! Join Wildlands Trust to enjoy “The Sights and Sounds of Wetlands and Wildlife” presentation at the Middleboro 4-H clubhouse with MassDEP Environmental Analyst Carlos Fragata. Learn about the different Massachusetts wetland types, wetland impacts, and wetland protections. Hear the sounds that different wetland animals make and learn about who they are, their life cycles, and their interactions with one another.

Then Carlos and volunteer Rob MacDonald will lead an exploration of the wetlands at Wildlands Trust’s Striar Conservancy just down the road in Halifax.

This program is free and open to all ages, but please register in advance, as space is limited. Parental supervision of younger children is required. Please pack a lunch and wear waterproof boots for the walk (if you have them). Plan to carpool from the clubhouse to Striar, as parking at the preserve is limited.
