Take a close look at aquatic macroinvertebrates (aka big water bugs) living in the Acushnet River during Saturday at The Sawmill. We’ll use nets to search for macroinvertebrates that live at the bottom of the river and learn about the interesting adaptations of these unusual creatures!

During Saturdays at The Sawmill, the Hawes Family Learning Center will be open to the public from 10am-1pm, with the Macroinvertebrate Mayhem family program starting at 11am.
