Winter can be cold — but we already knew that! We have our coats, gloves, and thick socks to help us stay warm through these months, but how do animals stay warm? During this indoor event, you’ll learn how different animals in our region survive during the winter. For those who want to brave the cold, we’ll also take a short guided hike to look for signs of animals and winter habitats.

During Saturdays at The Sawmill, the Hawes Family Learning Center will be open to the public from 10am-1pm, with the Braving the Winter family program starting at 11am.
