Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition to explore local trails at Gooseberry Island for inspiration and materials to create a nature garland – perfect for the holiday season!

After we explore Gooseberry, we will return to the Buzzards Bay Coalition/Westport Fishermen’s Association Center to put your garland together.

Please note we will be only be collecting materials that has fallen/washed up along the way. We will supply pine material for you to piece your garland together, and you can “spruce” it up with your foraged findings.

Meet in the parking lot at the intersection of East and West Beach Roads, across from the Horseneck Point Life Saving Station. Please dress warmly for the weather as we will be outside for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Warm drinks and snacks provided.
