The Friends of Myles Standish Native Bird Support Group is helping bluebirds and other native birds by providing them with nesting boxes in several locations in the forest. Their populations have risen in recent years due to nesting boxes!

Help clean out and put up these nesting boxes in Cutter Field, which we do annually. Meet at the Myles Standish State Forest headquarters picnic tables at 10:00am. After we clean the boxes, we will carpool to Cutter Field Road to put the boxes up.

Please bring a Phillips head screwdriver and gloves if you have some. Also, don’t wear good clothes, as we might get a little dirty. If it’s raining heavily, we will reschedule this event for Sunday, March 25 at 12:00pm.
