Southcoast physicians and community partners want to help you take a step toward better health — literally! Taking a brisk walk can do wonders for your health. Walking just 30 minutes a day can decrease your risk of many health problems including heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
Be Well Wareham features a FREE monthly walk with a doctor followed followed by yoga, meditation and nutrition class at the Gleason Family YMCA. No registration necessary.
The walk will be led by Ashwini Sahni, MD, a cardiologist with Southcoast Health.
- 8:30-9 am – Walk with a physician
- 9-9:30 am – Chair yoga
- 9:30-10 am – Meditation
- 10-10:30 am – Nutrition
