Join us for a relaxing Full Moon Walk at Horseneck Beach! We'll meet at the West Bathhouse for a quick check-in before heading out on the coastal trail.
We'll walk 1.3 miles along the paved pathway through the sand dunes to Buzzards Bay, where we'll take in the views and watch the full moon rise over the water.
The Horseneck Point Life-Saving Station will be open for restroom use. After enjoying the moonlit shoreline, we'll make our way back to the beach. Headlamps will be available to borrow if needed for the return walk.
Bring your friends, family, and cameras for a fun evening outdoors under the full moon!
Dogs are welcome on our Full Moon Walks outside of the DCR seasonal restriction period (April 1–September 15). Tadgh Irving, our lead dog trainer from Outhounds Adventure & Training Academy, will be joining us for the experience. Dogs must wear a properly fitted harness, remain on a leash, and participants must bring waste bags. Dogs should be friendly and comfortable around people of all ages and other dogs.
Our Full Moon Walks are hosted by Buzzards Bay Coalition in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and Outhounds Adventure & Training Academy.
