We often think of winter as bleak and lifeless, but there’s always something to see. On this walk at Marks Cove Conservation Area, naturalist Justin Cifello will guide us through some introductory steps to plant identification, and we’ll explore the relationships between various plants, fungi, and animals; including humans!

This is part of the Wareham Land Trust’s “Teachings from the Trail” walking series. Venture out onto the trails of Wareham’s beautiful conservation areas and learn about different aspects of the natural world from awesome volunteer naturalists! You can sign up for just one of the walks in this series or all of them!

While these events are free, the number of participants is limited due to COVID-19. Advance registration is required.
