| The overall research objective of The Coalition for Buzzards Bay is to better understand the Buzzards Bay ecosystem and its response to human–related impacts in order to guide restoration and protection. Our main research focus has been and remains to be on nutrient pollution of Buzzards Bay – excessive build-up from human activity of nutrients (essential and naturally occurring elements, such as nitrogen and phosphorus) in the harbors and coves of Buzzards Bay.
