Environmental Monitoring

An important component of our ability to monitor the health and threats to the Bay is our environmental monitoring program onboard the R/V Buzzards Baykeeper. 

The 27’ former Coast Guard patrol boat places The Coalition’s eyes and ears on the Bay—investigating pollution sources, enhancing the Coalition’s water quality monitoring program and on-the-water educational efforts, performing habitat restoration, and providing a platform from which to educate and involve legislators, policy makers, and the media in preserving Buzzard Bay.
