Kayak Escort Requirements:
- You must be 18 years of age or older and competent to paddle your kayak the 1.2 mile course in open water.
- Your kayak must be seaworthy and equipped with the following safety equipment:
- Two, adult United States Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices
- A 50-foot throw line with an attached floatation device
- A blanket or towel
- Swim Day, July 19th, you must pass Boat Inspection when you arrive at Davy’s Locker.
