Swim Buzzards Bay is a 1.2-mile open water swim through the warm, clean waters of Buzzards Bay— from Davy’s Locker Beach in New Bedford to Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven.
The Swim is a fundraising event for The Coalition for Buzzards Bay.
Do you love open-water swimming and the idea that by doing so, you are helping to protect the health of the waters you love to swim? If so, use Swim Buzzards Bay on July 19 to train for Save the Bay’s 1.7 mile open-water swim across Narragansett Bay on July 26.

Don't miss the Row for the Bay following the Swim at 1:00 pm on July 19. Co-sponsored by the Coalition and the Buzzards Bay Rowing Club, the Row is open to all kinds of boats—whaleboats, kayaks, canoes, gigs, shells, sculls, rowboats, etc. The race is approximately 3.5 miles in outer New Bedford Harbor.
For Row information visit www.buzzardsbayrowing.org.
If you Swim or Row (or both!) you will have a great day in (or on) the water helping us Save Buzzards Bay!
