The development would be situated on a 75-acre parcel at the junction of Interstate 195 and Route 28. The 750,000-square-foot project would include 720,000 square feet of retail space and 30,000 square feet for restaurants...Read more here

    Eating for Change
    lecture-crowd

On March 15, at the Marion Music Hall, The Coalition for Buzzards Bay and the Marion Institute hosted a lecture (actually more of a discussion) concerning the food we eat and its impact on the local and global environment and economies. Five panelists addressed an audience of more than one hundred people all interested in making a difference in their communities at some level. We all left the event that evening better people for having attended, and hopefully a lot more conscious of the food we eat. Click [here] to read more about the lecture.
