Join us for a free youth fishing clinic in New Bedford! Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries biologists will be joined by New Bedford’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Buzzards Bay Coalition to teach basic saltwater angling skills. All fishing equipment will be provided. Spots are limited!

The clinic will include:

  • Learn how to cast with spinning reels
  •  Test your knot tying skills
  •  Fun and educational handouts
  •  Gyotaku fish prints with paint
  •  Learn how to measure fish
  • Catch and release fishing!

To register, please fill out a registration form and submit it to Kimberly Trull, Marine Fisheries Angler Education Program Coordinator, via email. Forms can also be mailed to the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries at 30 Emerson Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930.
