Turtles are wonderful, amazing creatures. Many turtle species make their home throughout Myles Standish State Forest, including one you’re likely to only see here in this forest. In this all-ages program we will learn about turtles and their behavior as well as learn to identify different species of local turtles and hopefully see some ourselves!

Join the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to learn about the general physical make-up and behavior of the turtles as well as how they breed, eat, and protect themselves. We will also learn how to identify different species of turtles and hopefully see some ourselves!
