Join the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust and Mark Mello from the Lloyd Center for their popular annual late-winter walk from Salters Point to Mishaum Point in Dartmouth. The group will look for wintering waterfowl and hope to see seals from the shoreline.

The walk is free, but registration is required and limited to 60 people. Please register by calling DNRT at (508) 991-2289 no later than Thurdsay, March 9. (Because this walk typically “sells out,” please register as soon as possible.) DNRT will tell you where the group is meeting when you call to register.

Walkers should wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the day’s weather (the wind off the Bay can be very cold, even when sunny), and be prepared for a walk of about 3 miles. The walk usually lasts about 2-3 hours depending on the weather and what can be seen out at Mishaum Point. No pets, please.

Cost: Free
