Sea Glass: From Our Shores to Your Canvas

Join Mass Audubon to explore the variety of sea glass and other treasures that wash upon the shores at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary via a guided beach walk, where you can collect pieces of weathered glass, pottery and more. Explore some of Allens Pond staff’s favorites collected over the years, and learn some interesting history about beach glass and other finds.

After the walk, engage in a facilitated creative session where staff will provide you with canvas to create a unique, beach-inspired work of art, using the materials found on shore.

The walk will cover approximately 2.5 miles of uneven terrain outdoors; please dress for a beach hike. Program is limited to 12 adults.
