Learn how to dig your own quahogs (hard clams) from Onset Bay! During this free event at Burgess Point with the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the Town of Wareham, we’ll teach you the basics of local quahogging: what you need, how to do it, and where to go. This will be a fun and educational activity for the whole family!

Participants will travel on a boat from Onset Pier to Burgess Point. Please dress to get wet and muddy. This will be a catch-and-release event. The Coalition will provide all necessary equipment (rakes, peck baskets, gauges, and waders) for you to use, or you are welcome to bring your own.
