Learn how to dig your own quahogs (hard clams) from Onset Bay! During this free event at Wickets Island with the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the Wareham Department of Natural Resources, we’ll teach you the basics of local quahogging: what you need, how to do it, and where to go.

Participants will travel on a boat from Onset Pier to Wickets Island. Please dress to get wet and muddy. This will be a catch-and-release event. The Coalition will provide all necessary equipment (rakes, peck baskets, gauges, and waders) for you to use, or you are welcome to bring your own.
