Join the Appalachian Mountain Club Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter for a 35-mile bike ride over flat terrain through the towns of Rochester, Lakeville, and Middleboro. This will be a nice ride over quiet country roads with lots of lakes, ponds, and farm scenery. The group will stop at the Lakeville Historical Museum, where they have a nice display of antiques, old photos, and Native American Indian artifacts. Near the end of the ride, the group will stop at the Robin’s Nest for ice cream and fried seafood. This will be an easy-paced, stay together, group ride of about 12-13 mph. Contact ride leader Jack Jacobson for exact start location.
