Winter is a great time to break out of the house and explore beautiful conservation areas. There can be challenges, though. If snow is on the ground, come anyway. Bring snowshoes or skis if you have them, and be prepared to have fun!

Join The 300 Committee for a walk through Wing Pond Woods, a lovely area with gently sloping paths. With cranberry bogs, oak and pine woodland and a large kettle hole pond, these woods have much to offer on a winter walk.

Directions: Off 28A in North Falmouth, 0.4 miles north of the Thomas Landers Road intersection, turn at #116 North Falmouth Highway. The one-lane road crosses the bike path to parking near the pond.
