Explore the natural world of Myles Standish State Forest with guided walks, games and activities from Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Come find some of the beautiful and rare butterflies and moths that make their home in this forest. Learn some of the most common types of moths and butterflies that are here, and also what these insects can tell us about the health of the forest. Nets will be provided by the DCR.

For children and curious adults of all ages; all children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Interpretive Center in the Headquarters parking lot at 194 Cranberry Road, South Carver. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Bring water. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. Program is cancelled in the event of rain.
