Spend this Presidents’ Day week learning about the connection between Myles Standish State Forest and Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt. These two American presidents directly contributed to the preservation and improvement of this beautiful forest. Learn how the Roosevelts were instrumental in making this forest what it is today. This is an outdoor program.

You’ll walk about 1 mile as we tell “A Tale of Two Presidents.” Dress in warm layers and boots. Don’t forget hats and mittens, too. Meet in front of the Interpretive Center next to the forest headquarters. Suitable for adults and children 10+. This program is free and open to the public; no parking fee. Rain, snow, or icy trails will cancel.
