Join the Southeastern Massachusetts chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club for their 14th annual New Year’s Day Cycling event.

The group will cycle on streets and Shining Sea Bikeway from North Falmouth to Woods Hole and return. This ride will be around 27 miles and is expected to take 3 hours or so. The group will do a shorter ride if the weather is iffy.

The group will start at the Shining Sea Bikeway parking lot in North Falmouth. First re-group will be at Old Silver Beach and a look toward Marion, Rochester, Mattapoisett, and Fairhaven. There is a possibility of adding a couple of side tours past Gunning Point and Racing Beach and Nobska Light. Afterwards, the group will continue on to Woods Hole for a stop at Pie in the Sky for refreshments in the sun.
