Kayak Escort Requirements:

• You must be 18 years of age or older and competent to paddle your kayak the 1.2 mile course in open water.
  
  
• Your kayak must be seaworthy and equipped with the following safety equipment:
  
  
  • Two, adult United States Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices
    
    
  • A 50-foot throw line with an attached floatation device
    
    
  • A blanket or towel
    
    
• Swim Day, July 31st, you must pass Boat Inspection when you arrive at Davy’s Locker.
